A 46 ans, j’ai été victime d’une attaque cérébrale. Le diagnostic: tétraplégie (paralysie quasi complète). En outre, je suis atteint du syndrome „Locked-In“ (prisonnier de son propre corps).

Après avoir dû me battre pour survivre, j’ai accepté le défi de croquer la vie à pleines dents. Avec beaucoup d’exercice, une volonté ferme et une grande ambition, j’ai réussi à surmonter un chemin semé d’embûches et à m’intégrer dans la société.

Après six ans, le désir a mûri en moi-même d’écrire un livre sur ce que j’ai vécu. L’oeuvre sera intitulée „Ma deuxième vie – Ma vie avec le Locked-In Syndrom. En quelque sorte, ce sera la maîtrise de ma nouvelle existence.

Comme moyen auxiliaire principal, j’ai besoin d’un ordinateur. Deux programmes spéciaux (entre autre un clavier à l’écran) et une HeadMouse m’ouvrent la voie vers le monde extérieur. Très vite, je me suis constitué un réseau social. J’ai aussi pu découvrir de nouveau aspects de ma personnalité.

La prochaine aide sera un ouvre-porte qui me permettra de faire un grand pas vers l’autonomie. Un contrôle de l’environnement me permettra d’élargir mon autonomie et de pouvoir renoncer à l’aide de tiers dans plusieurs domaines.

A travers le soutien de l’équipe de la FST, j’ai pu réaliser ma devise „retour à la vie!“ La fondation FST est compétente, innovative et empathique.
